The classic British K6 telephone kiosk (designed to commemorate the silver jubilee of king George V) outside a small village shop. Sights like this are rapidly vanishing as mobile phones render the telephone kiosk redundant and supermarkets take the trade of the small shop.

Billingsgate Market: Phone

I loved the state of the phones in the market. They all dangled on poles from the ceiling and were robust and bright yellow plastic. Nobody seemed to use them since mobile phones had become prevalent.
